'Stop acting': Leeds star takes subtle dig at West Ham flop after bad challenge in FA Cup clash

Anton Stach has taken a subtle dig after Leeds’ penalty shootout victory over West Ham in the FA Cup quarter-final.

Stach was dominating the midfield battle before he was forced to exit the game after a bad tackle from Max Kilman.

The Leeds midfielder’s latest social media post appeared to be in response to skepticism about his ankle injury.

Stach suffered his ankle injury when Kilman dived in to block his shot at the end of a dangerous Leeds counter-attack.

Kilman arrived late and wiped out Stach after the ball had gone, causing the German international to roll his ankle.

Kilman was fortunate not to concede a penalty for his ill-timed challenge – yet another mistake by the central defender.

Stach then spent a few minutes on the ground as Leeds’ medical staff assessed whether he could continue.

The 27-year-old ultimately limped off the pitch and was replaced by Brenden Aaronson in the 39th minute.

Stach’s Instagram post after the game suggests he was not impressed by the reaction to his injury.

“Stop acting,” he wrote, assumedly a reference to a comment from either a West Ham player or fan that he was acting.

Either way, he left the London Stadium much happier than anyone in claret and blue, with a trip to Wembley booked.
