Karim Coulibaly is widely expected to leave Werder Bremen this summer, with European top clubs lining up for his signature.
According to Sky Germany, Real Madrid, Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain have joined the race for the 18-year-old centre-back.
Newcastle United, Chelsea and Napoli have also been mentioned as suitors. Chelsea are said to be particularly interested and have already held talks with the player’s representatives.
Coulibaly himself is reportedly dreaming of a move to PSG, but the French champions are already well-stuffed in his position, with Willian Pacho, Marquinhos, Ilya Zabarnyi and Lucas Beraldo in their squad.
It would likely take around €40–50 million to prise the young defender away from Werder Bremen – a fee that would make him the club’s most expensive sale.
