Scott Parker’s side were initially schedule to host City at Turf Moor on Sunday, April 26, with the game kicking off at 2pm and televised live on Sky Sports.
But the Citizens will now be in FA Cup last four action on that weekend against Southampton after breezing past Liverpool in the quarter finals.
It gives Burnley another free weekend, with the reschedule date brought forward to Wednesday, April 22, with an 8pm kick off.

The fixture will be sandwiched in between a trip to Nottingham Forest on Sunday, April 19 – a game that also had to be moved after Forest reached the next stage of the Europa League – and the trip to Leeds United on Friday, May 1.
That’s also another fixture that was moved, brought forward a day after being chosen for live coverage on Sky Sports.

After a rare three-weak break due to a combination of the March international break and the FA Cup quarter finals, Burnley return to action this weekend with a home game against Brighton.
The Clarets currently find themselves 10 points adrift of safety with only seven games of the season remaining.
