Manchester United have decided to embark on a four-day training camp near Dublin ahead of Monday’s fixture with Leeds United.
The purpose of the trip is to ramp up fitness intensity, with the club having 24 days between their last two fixtures due to being knocked out of the FA Cup and not participating in European competition.
In comparison, Leeds had 16 days between fixtures, having participated in the FA Cup quarter-finals on Sunday, beating West Ham United on penalties to book their place in the last four of the competition for the first time in 39 years.
Man Utd are currently third in the Premier League table having lost just one of their past 14 top-flight games. Leeds met their arch rivals at Elland Road back in January and played out a 1-1 draw.

It would turn out to be Ruben Amorim’s final game in charge of the Red Devils, the coach producing a post-match rant about how his club was being run before being relieved of his duties 24 hours later.
Michael Carrick has now taken charge as caretaker boss, losing just one of his 10 games and winning seven. The former midfielder lost four of his five meetings against Daniel Farke's Leeds while manager of Middlesbrough.
The Whites have meanwhile yet to beat Man Utd since that famous 2010 FA Cup win at Old Trafford while a League One club. The last time they defeated them in the league was back in 2002 and not for 45 years have Leeds beaten Man Utd at Old Trafford in the league.

The two teams are due to face off in Dublin itself this summer, with a friendly scheduled at Croke Park in August - although should Leeds get relegated or advance to the Community Shield final, the fixture will be called off.
