Virgil van Dijk is among the Liverpool players who are at risk of a suspension for the second leg of the Champions League quarter-final vs. Paris Saint-Germain.
Per UEFA rules, players who are booked three times before the Champions League semi-finals earn a one-match ban.
Liverpool currently have four players on two yellow cards in this season’s competition, though one of those – Conor Bradley – is already ruled out for the rest of the campaign.
Van Dijk, Ryan Gravenberch and Curtis Jones are however expected to take part against PSG on Wednesday night and if they are cautioned they will miss the second leg.

That would be a huge blow to Arne Slot‘s side, particularly if their captain is unable to be involved in next week’s Anfield decider.
No Liverpool player has clocked more minutes than Van Dijk this season (4,131), which includes playing every minute of every game in the Premier League and Champions League.
Gravenberch is Slot’s fourth-most used player this season and with Wataru Endo already out is the only available No. 6 – albeit with the Dutchman taking up a different role throughout the campaign.

And while Jones is not considered a first-choice starter he has clocked the most minutes outside of Liverpool’s regular XI.
PSG head coach Luis Enrique is aware that Nuno Mendes and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia are also one yellow card away from missing the second leg.
Both are likely to start against Liverpool on Wednesday night with Mendes having been rested for the 3-1 win over Toulouse in Ligue 1 on Friday.

Goalkeepers: Mamardashvili, Woodman, Pecsi
Defenders: Van Dijk, Konate, Gomez, Kerkez, Frimpong, Robertson, Ramsay*
Midfielders: Szoboszlai, Mac Allister, Gravenberch, Jones, Nyoni
Forwards: Salah, Wirtz, Ekitike, Isak, Gakpo, Chiesa, Ngumoha, Morrison
* Ineligible for Champions League
Liverpool are already without first-choice goalkeeper Alisson as well as the long-term injured Endo, Bradley, Giovanni Leoni, Stefan Bajcetic and Jayden Danns.
A 20-man squad of outfielders worked at the AXA Training Centre on Tuesday, including Alexander Isak, though Calvin Ramsay will not make the trip to PSG.
Ramsay is ineligible for the Champions League which limits Slot’s natural right-back options to Joe Gomez and Jeremie Frimpong – and, if Van Dijk were to miss the second leg, this would be reduced further with Gomez required at centre-back.
