Leeds United still have a couple of games to go to end the season. The Whites are still in the Premier League, but will need to get a maximum amount of points to guarantee their safety.

There is over a month left of football to go, but there are already plans for this summer. Per reports coming out of Elland Road, Leeds United have plans to sign some players. A new striker will be on the shortlist as the club feel Dominic Calvert-Lewin needs some competition, after his long goal drought this calendar year. The goalkeeping situation at the club could become even more complex with three keepers set to leave at the end of their contracts, leaving a lot of decisions for the 49ers to make.

‘No refunds’ stance issued ahead of Leeds United game

Leeds United and Manchester United are scheduled to play a pre-season friendly in the summer. The two sides will meet at Croke Park in Dublin in August. The Stadium is set to host their first football match since November 2009. And per multiple reports, the 82,300-capacity stadium is set to be sold out with tickets having already gone on sale.

However, there is a stipulation – if Leeds are relegated or reach the Community Shield final, the game is off. The match takes place 10 days before the new season, and two days before the Championship starts. And according to the ticketing website, there are terms and conditions applied in the event the match is called off. Fans will be refunded when it comes to the match tickets, but the club will not offer refunds on travel expenses like flights and hotels.

“The club will not offer refunds on travel expenses in the event of relegation or participation in the 2026 FA Community Shield.

“The ticket operator will offer refunds on tickets sold for the match.”

Leeds United will face Manchester United in the Premier League next Monday, with huge implications on the Whites’ battle for survival.

Fans will be hoping for a positive finish to the season

This pre-season friendly carries a lot of financial benefits for Leeds United – they could net millions of pounds from tickets if the match is played. And with the club in need of revenue when it comes to PSR, they must do everything possible to make sure the game goes ahead. This means Daniel Farke and his men need to make sure they stay up and survive the Premier League. The Whites also have a chance to make the FA Cup final at Wembley if they manage to beat Chelsea later this month.
