Brian Shaw, from Lydgate Lodge in Batley, visited Elland Road as a guest of the Leeds United Foundation alongside lifestyle manager Zoe Mortimer.

The invitation was in recognition of Leeds United Foundation instructor Sophie Dales, who raised funds through charity runs and walks to provide sports equipment for the care home.
Ms Mortimer said: "Thank you so much to the Leeds United Foundation for inviting us to celebrate such a wonderful occasion, and a huge thank you to Sophie for all the incredible work she has done to raise funds to donate this equipment to our home."

Mr Shaw also expressed his appreciation for the experience, adding: "I had a terrific day.
"I enjoy watching the Leeds games with my son, so it was great to meet some of the players and have a look around the stadium."
