It’s known that Mohamed Salah will depart Liverpool this summer, and now the Premier League club are working on signing the Egyptian’s replacement.
According to **Sport Bild**, Arne Slot’s side have identified Hoffenheim attacker Bazoumana Touré, who is enjoying a breakout campaign in the Bundesliga having scored two goals and provided 11 assists in 24 league appearances in 2025/26.
Additionally, Liverpool scouts watched Touré during Ivory Coast’s 1-0 win over Scotland. The 20-year-old, who made his international debut in October 2025, scored two goals in three games at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations and with five caps already, is a certain to feature at this summer’s World Cup.
Should Touré leave Hoffenheim in the summer, then the Sinsheim club can expect to receive a fee of around €40m, having signed the winger from Hammarby IF for €10m in February 2025 and if Christian Ilzer’s outfit fail to qualify for European football, a departure would seem all the more likely.
But Liverpool aren’t the only team holding an interest. Arsenal, Manchester United and Bayern Munich are among the clubs interested in the Ivorian.
