Bournemouth, West Ham, Crystal Palace and Brentford target Natan

Crystal Palace are one of the clubs chasing Real Betis’ Natan de Souza ahead of the summer transfer window.

The Eagles’ interest isn’t new as they already tried to sign him last summer, but Real Betis weren’t keen.

Crystal Palace are back in the transfer mix to try and bring the defender to the Premier League.

The La Liga side initially signed the centre-back on loan from Napoli in August 2024 and paid €9m to make his stay permanent the following year. He has been a regular and extended his good form into this season.

His La Liga stats this season are as follows:

Appearances: 26

Starts: 26

Total minuets: 2,257

Minutes per game: 87

Interceptions: 1.2

Tackles per game: 1.1

Ball recovered per game: 3.1

Clearances per game: 7.0

Duels won per game: 3.8

Earlier this month, Sport Witness relayed news that Crystal Palace, AFC Bournemouth, West Ham United and Brentford are all keen.

The source reported Real Betis want €40m, after identifying the player as a candidate to help them raise funds. The Andalusian club need this to balance their books.

Crystal Palace transfer interest backed up

La Razón pick up on that and cover the latest on Real Betis’ plan and the Premier Lague interest.

The newspaper backs up Crystal Palace and Bournemouth interest and that the Spanish club have a €40m price.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side intend to sell the 25-year-old and invest €10m to sign Red Bull Bragantino’s Kevin Lomónaco. Real Betis will only proceed to secure the Argentine’s services when Natan is sold.

The Cherries are ahead but Oliver Glasner’s side can still get ahead of the competition to sign the Brazilian.

The Eagles brought Chadi Riad to Selhurst Park from Real Betis in 2024, resulting in a good relationship between the two clubs.

Real Betis already rejected Crystal Palace’s offer for Natan last summer. This time around, the London club could take advantage of their good relationship with Los Verdiblancos to secure the South American’s services.

Should the Eagles make a fresh offer of at least close to €40m, Real Betis are most likely to encourage it.

Contract, value and agent info

Natan has a contract until 2030, and Transfermarkt value him at €25m, the highest so far in his career.

Agency Link Sports, owned by agent André Cury, is representing the player desired by Crystal Palace and other English clubs.
