Tottenham are reportedly interested in signing two Man City players in the summer transfer window.

However, Spurs are out all competitions, and find themselves fully embroiled in a relegation battle in the Premier League. They recently appointed former Brighton and Marseille boss Roberto De Zerbi as their new head coach.

If they survive, Tottenham are expected to go after two Man City players based on current transfer reports, which could be a real coup for the North London side. T

Tottenham plot double Man City raid

Spurs were heavily linked with City winger Savinho last summer. However, Man City were adamant that the Brazilian attacker was not for sale and that they wanted to keep hold of him.

According to the Sun, Tottenham are now also eyeing a move for goalkeeper James Trafford, who has only been at City since the summer when he joined from Burnley. Trafford has impressed, but because of Gianluigi Donnarumma, he has been the second choice at City, something that he didn’t necessarily sign up for.

Spurs are looking for a new goalkeeper, as they have seen some very inconsistent form from Guglielmo Vicario, and backup Antonin Kinsky has also been very mistake-prone, especially during their Champions League knockout clash against Atletico Madrid.

Trafford has made 14 appearances in all competitions for City this season, whereas Savinho has played in 28 games. It is understood that they have a combined estimated market value of around £56m.

Trafford also linked with Newcastle

Spurs aren’t the only Premier League club eyeing up a move for Trafford this summer, as Newcastle are also understood to be keen. The Magpies were close to signing him last summer, before Man City came in and paid his buy-back clause from Burnley.

Newcastle currently have Nick Pope, and Aaron Ramsdale, but the latter is just on loan, and Pope is now 33, so will need replacing in the near future, Trafford could be that man for Eddie Howe.
