Everton are keeping a close eye on Kevin Pedro as the Frenchman stars on a regular basis for Saint-Etienne.
Having emerged from the Ligue 2 side’s academy when making his debut last season, the France U19 international has been a key player this term after nailing down a spot in the starting XI.
French news outlet Jeunes Footeux even describe Pedro as the “revelation of the season in Ligue 2” as he stars in defence for Saint-Etienne, so let’s take a closer look at the Everton target.

David Moyes can solve two problems in one swoop with move for Kevin Pedro
Firstly, Everton fans will be pleased to hear that the 20-year-old is capable of playing in two different positions across the backline.
Pedro has made nine appearances in the centre of defence for Saint-Etienne so far this season, as well as eight outings at right-back.
There is a desire at the Hill Dickinson Stadium for reinforcements in both areas, amid doubts over the futures of Seamus Coleman and Nathan Patterson – while Michael Keane could leave when his contract expires this summer.
Everton are monitoring Ben White of Arsenal in light of these situations, a player who can also operate centrally or on the right like Pedro, so perhaps the Saint-Etienne No.39 is being considered as an alternative to the England international.

Jeunes Footeux say Bayer Leverkusen, Rennes, Lille, Strasbourg and Bournemouth have also sent scouts to monitor the Carcassonne-born talent along with Everton.
The French news outlet add that Saint-Etienne have no intention of selling Pedro as they aim to keep all of their best players and achieve promotion, and it will be tough to change that stance considering he has a contract running until July 2030.
However, every player has a price, and if The Friedkin Group deem the Frenchman to be better value than White, a bid could well be submitted.
