Williams praised the side’s ability to keep in the fight in the National League Southern Premier Division, as they aim at securing a playoff spot for a potential promotion to the WSL2.
They currently trail Plymouth in second by six points for that spot, but they have two games in hand so can close the gap before the final game of the season.

“We just take each day as it comes,” Williams told the Daily Echo.
“Each game for us now is like a cup final, so it's very important, but obviously try not to get ahead of ourselves and keep composed and keep going.”

She added: “I think we're very fortunate with the group of girls that we have here, especially the new girls coming in.
“We've all got each other's backs, and no matter the performance, if we don't get the result that we want, we'll get around each other and keep going and keep fighting.
“I think that's been evident from our success this season, that it's not just about what we do on the pitch, it's about of how we are as a group off the pitch.”
