“Everton have started conversations with the camp of Jack Grealish to find solutions to keep him beyond this season,” he said.

“Everton want to find a solution with the player’s camp and Manchester City to continue the partnership next season. While the player is open to this possibility, the outcome depends on several factors:

“These conversations are just beginning, and it will be an interesting topic to follow in the upcoming weeks. Let’s see how it goes.”

Everton are believed to be willing to spend ÂŁ20m on Grealish, otherwise another loan deal could be a possibility for the Blues.

The transfer window is still months away from opening, but it is clear this is the deal that The Friedkin Group wants to land as their first of the summer.

It is also worth noting that Aston Villa have shown an interest in Grealish, which may have concerned some on Merseyside.

However, it is apparent the player has enjoyed his stint at the Hill Dickinson Stadium and wants to continue playing for the Evertonians.
