Brighton are reportedly one of several sides keeping close tabs on Bayern Munich youngster Arijon Ibrahimovic.
The forward is currently out on loan to 1. FC Heidenheim until the end of the season, where he has scored one goal and registered three assists in 28 appearances in all competitions.
Nevertheless, Ibrahimovic’s performances have caught the attention of several top clubs around Europe, with his pace, energy and versatility seeing him identified as a useful attacking option.
According to Transfermarkt, Brighton are among those teams to have shortlisted the 20-year-old as a potential target, along with Villarreal and ‘several other Bundesliga clubs’.
The Seagulls are said to have seen an approach to sign Ibrahimovic in the January transfer window rejected as Bayern were content with the forward playing out the remainder of the campaign at the Voith-Arena.
The Germany Under-21 international is capable of playing on either wing, but has spent the majority of this season playing as a No. 10, which has prompted Bayern to rethink whether their academy graduate has a future at the club.

Manager Vincent Kompany was reportedly involved in a squad planning meeting earlier this week, where the discussion turned to how the German giants can bolster their ranks by integrating those who have come through the academy.
As such, Ibrahimovic was discussed as an option to be a third-choice winger on the left behind Luis Diaz and Serge Gnabry. The youngster is also viewed as someone who can play second fiddle to Jamal Musiala as a No. 10, and move out to the right if both Michael Olise and Lennart Karl are unavailable.
The prospect of playing such a rotational role at the Allianz Arena leaves Ibrahimovic with a tough decision on his hands, especially with his contract with his boyhood club expiring next summer.
If offered the chance to feature for Bayern in the 2026/27 campaign, he must weigh up whether to commit to proving his worth at the club in a squad packed full of talent, or push for a permanent exit – with a loan unlikely given his contract situation.
Brighton and fellow suitors will therefore be waiting patiently to see how the situation develops.
With so many parts in the saga, such as injuries and top players potentially becoming available to Bayern, it could lead to Ibrahimovic being made available at any given moment over the summer, and the Seagulls will need to be alert to pounce when the time is right.
