But Clarets favourite Glen Little has expressed doubts over which players could bring in big money should they be shipped out this summer in a bid to recoup some much-needed cash.
Over the past few years, the club have had to sell a number of their prized assets – such as Nick Pope, Dwight McNeil, Sander Berge, Wilson Odobert and others – after being demoted back down to the Championship, to make up for the shortfall in TV revenue.

Ex-Claret Little, who covers Burnley games as a co-commentator for BBC Radio Lancashire, has expressed his doubts.

“So does a Bashir Humphreys, a young player with potential, get a move? Maxime Esteve, he’s going to have two relegations on his CV with Burnley, will he want to move on? Although maybe the demand for Esteve has dried up.
“Someone told me Hannibal deserves a move, but what for, a good month? Let’s be fair, up until Christmas he hardly had a game. He was on the bench.
“All credit to him, in the last month or so he’s shown he’s got potential and he’s done pretty well, but a good five or six games in the Premier League, does that get you a move?
“But if we do keep mostly the same squad, I could see us straight back up there again and with Scott Parker, why not?”
