Wolves announce youth season ticket price reductions

Wolves have made a significant season ticket announcement.

Wolves have announced considerable season ticket price reductions for younger fans as part of a restructure of age bands.

The previous under-17 category has been extended to under-18, while the under-21 age band will now be under-23, ensuring fans pay less for longer before entering the adult category.

Wolves came under intense criticism for price hikes in 2024, which led to some rowing back on prices, before the club froze all season ticket costs last summer for the 2025/26 campaign.

Season ticket prices will be slashed for next season and under-14s paying £105 will now pay £75, while under-18 tickets will be priced at £175 in all stands, down from £276 for those seated behind the goals this season.

That means the vast majority of under-18s will save around £100, while those in the central areas of the Billy Wright Stand will save more than £200.

Under-18 and under-14 prices will now also be consistent across all stands, instead of having price differences depending on where fans are seated.

Anyone who is under 18 on September 1 2026 will qualify, and that date will be consistent across other age bands.

Shi said: “We believe it is important that Molineux is accessible, especially for young fans and families, and we have taken this opportunity to reshape our ticketing approach with that in mind.

“Our discussions with the Fan Advisory Board have been an important part of this process, and it was encouraging to see strong alignment between our plans and their feedback.

“Young supporters are central to our future, and it is important that they feel part of Wolves from an early age and can build a lifelong connection with the club.

“This is about creating a stronger, more unified Wolves, with supporters at the heart of the club, and young fans finding a home for life at Molineux.”

Shi has also already committed to an average reduction of 25 per cent for adult season tickets, will exact prices expected to be announced in the coming weeks.

Despite changes to the national retirement age, Wolves are keeping their senior age category at 65+.

FAB chair and independent supporter representative Marcus Passant said: “Bringing families and young supporters to Molineux is hugely important. If you want a full stadium and a strong future, you have to make it accessible for the next generation.

“We put some suggestions forward around the bandings and it was really positive to see the club not only listen, but build on them. It felt like they’d taken the themes of what we were saying and improved on them as well.”
