Leeds United are back in Premier League action this week after their FA Cup triumph over West Ham. Daniel Farke’s men have now booked a place in the semi-final at Wembley.

They will be facing a Chelsea side who beat Port Vale 7-0 in their quarterfinal. The Whites look like the underdogs ahead of the game, but they have taken four points off the Blues in the league this campaign.

Monday’s game has a lot at stake for both sides; Manchester United are pursuing a spot in the Champions League, while Leeds are fighting for survival. The Whites are just six points above the relegation zone and can do a lot to their aspirations by getting a result against Michael Carrick’s men. The Red Devils have lost just one of their last 10 games in the league.

In Thursday’s pre-match press conference, Daniel Farke has confirmed that his side will be without Anton Stach and Joe Rodon for Monday night’s game. The duo both have injuries and are expected to be back in the team next month.

“Not the best news today. Stach will miss Monday. Ankle injury. Rodon will miss the game also. Ankle injury. Daniel James will miss. Adductor strain before the cup game.”

Leeds have further issues to worry about as Jaka Bijol, Noah Okafor and Gabriel Gudmundsson are doubts ahead of the game.

“Bijol struggling with knock, no team training this week so far. Okafor not in team training, back problem. Gudmundsson progress after a light groin problem. All are doubts. If game was tomorrow, not available.”
