What fan footage caught Tyler Dibling doing in Everton training gives David Moyes an easy…

Tyler Dibling is still finding his feet at Everton, but there was an encouraging moment during the open training session.

As Everton let fans into the Hill Dickinson Stadium to cast an eye over training, the England U21 international was caught on camera whipping an incredible strike powerfully into the top left corner.

Supporters in the comments section even claimed the Everton No.20 did this three times in a row.

David Moyes has already called out Tyler Dibling in a press conference, asking the 20-year-old when he is going to step up and score some goals. He is currently without a single goal involvement in 18 games.

However, it is clear for all to see what the Glaswegian needs to do with the former Southampton man after that fan footage emerged on social media.

How can Tyler Dibling actually turn things around at Everton? 🤷‍♂️

It's going to need some turnaround from the youngster 😫

David Moyes has to deploy Tyler Dibling in a central role from now on

There have already been some hints that Moyes is plotting to field Dibling centrally next season, amid rumours Everton want to sign a new winger or two in Said El Mala and Abdul Fatawu.

After watching the aforementioned video, we strongly believe the 62-year-old has to put the £40m man in a central attacking midfield role next term regardless of any new wingers potentially arriving.

Dibling’s stunning effort during the open training session came in a central area, where he regularly caused havoc at Southampton – he actually has a better record in that position than he does out wide.

Position Games Goals Assists

Right Wing 44 6 1

Central Attacking Midfield 29 13 7

Central Midfield 6 1 2

Centre-Forward 5 2 1

Right Midfield 4 1 0

Second Striker 3 0 0

Left Wing 2 0 2

When you look at those figures, it is odd that Moyes hasn’t already given the youngster a chance in the No.10 role behind the main striker at least once this season.

Pushing the Exeter-born forward closer to goal in a central role, where he can showcase his impressive shooting ability more often without first having to beat several players out wide, could well be the answer as Everton aim to make sure this £40m investment comes good.
