Manchester United have received an early advantage ahead of their Premier League clash with Leeds United on April 13.
Leeds manager Daniel Farke has confirmed a triple injury setback today.
He said (via LeedsUnited.com): “Not the best news today.
“Anton Stach will definitely miss the game on Monday, ankle injury after the cup game. Also, Joe Rodon will miss the game, also an ankle injury for him.
“Daniel James also miss the game. So he had sadly an adductor strain just in the session before the cup game and won’t be available.”
Anton Stach suffered an injury during the FA Cup quarter-final win over West Ham United last weekend.
He is enjoying a sensational debut season in England after joining the Whites last summer from Hoffenheim.
Despite being a defensive midfielder, Stach has been a talismanic figure for Leeds in the final third.
He has bagged four goals and three assists in 26 Premier League contests.
The 27-year-old would have been one of the first names on their teamsheet on Monday if he was available.
Joe Rodon has been a crucial part of the team, starting all 29 games except just two since the turn of the year.
The Wales international also missed the reverse fixture in January.
Daniel James will also miss the clash due to injury.
The winger spent two years at Man United before completing a move to Leeds in 2021.
United head coach Michael Carrick may be relieved after seeing Stach and Rodon unavailable for the encounter.
With key opposition players sidelined, the Red Devils will be expected to push aggressively for all three points against their fierce rivals.
