The signs look very good indeed as West Ham United prepare to welcome Crysencio Summerville back for Friday’s Premier League relegation battle with Wolves.
Summerville made his return to Rush Green in midweek following a month out with a calf injury.
Now, Nuno insisted that the Dutchman still needs to be ‘assessed’ before he is included in the squad for the visit of Rob Edwards’ rock-bottom Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Sorry Pablo, but this team (if fit) are beating Wolves 👍

But as West Ham United offered fans a peak behind the curtain via a five-minute montage of Nuno’s Thursday training session, the sight of Crysencio Summerville in high spirits would have been a very welcome tonic after that FA Cup exit at the hands of the winger’s former employers Leeds.

Summerville trained with the rest of the first-team group on Thursday.
He could be seen laughing along with Axel Disasi during a ‘rondo’, and did not appear to be suffering any further effects from an injury he picked up against Brentford on March 9th.

“[Summerville] is improving, he’s improving,” said Nuno at a press conference, while also confirming that West Ham should have Jean-Clair Todibo, Callum Wilson, Konstantinos Mavropanos and Mads Hermansen back.

Todibo, Wilson and Mavropanos all trained at Rush Green just over 24 hours before kick-off on Friday night. Hermansen is expected to re-claim his place in goal, having been rotated out for Alphonse Areola and surprise debutant Finlay Herrick against Leeds.
