Manchester United return to action on Monday evening for the first time since their 2-2 draw at Bournemouth on March 20. Michael Carrick's side have been away at a training camp in Ireland as they prepare for a crucial stretch of the season.
United have just seven games left to play, with Monday's game against Leeds followed by a significant fixture at top-five rivals Chelsea five days later. The Reds currently sit third in the Premier League table, seven points clear of the sixth-placed Blues, who host title-chasing Manchester City on Sunday.
And with European football at M16 looking almost certain now - attention will soon turn towards the summer transfer window. United will be targeting a new midfielder, with Nottingham Forest's Elliot Anderson heavily linked, although Sky Sports suggests Aston Villa's Amadou Onana is an alternative.

Elsewhere, the Reds are said to be one of several clubs interested in another Villa star in Morgan Rogers. With all that said, below is a look at the latest transfer rumours surrounding Old Trafford, as well as a view on each one.
Rogers 'race'
United are reportedly set for a near-£100million race for Villa's Rogers. The Telegraph claim that Arsenal, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain are all interested.
It is said that Villa will demand in excess of £80m and the price might be driven higher, to an initial £90m, if a bidding war develops.
It is further claimed that United are strongly interested in Rogers and if an acceptable offer is made it will be looked at. United’s director of football, Jason Wilcox, is also reportedly a fan.
Isaac Seelochan of the Manchester Evening News says: "With Casemiro leaving and Manuel Ugarte unlikely to stay - United's priority has to be a number six, which Rogers is not. The Reds would be better off spending that money on Anderson or Crystal Palace's Adam Wharton."
Anderson 'alterntive'
Reports from Sky Sports claim that Amadou Onana is an option for United. It is claimed that the Belgian midfielder could leave Villa for a significant fee.
It has previously been claimed that Onana “turned down” advances from United, which led them to pivot towards Manuel Ugarte in 2024.
Isaac Seelochan of the Manchester Evening News says: "While Onana has had a decent season, I'm not sure he's good enough to make the step up to United. If they can get him for a reasonable fee, which seems unlikely with three years left on his contract, then it may be worth a punt, but there are better options out there."
