Wolves midfielder Andre has hailed manager Rob Edwards as a ‘top person’ as well as being a ‘top coach’.
The Brazilian midfielder has been a mainstay in the side under Edwards - as Wolves finally managed to find some form amid an awful start to the season.
They go into their clash against West Ham on the back of a three and a half week break - looking to continue their form.
Andre, whose future is set to come under speculation in the coming weeks when the season comes to an end, has explained what Edwards has done for him as a player since his arrival.
And above praising him as a coach, Andre has also hailed the character of the Wolves boss.
He said: “He’s a top person, firstly. When he came I was in Brazil as my son was not well, so he sent me a message and this was important. First, you need to be a good person, then be good at work.
“On the pitch he gives me a lot of confidence to play. He says, ‘You are a top player’ so every day we fight, fight, fight. So, I’m very happy working with him, he’s a top gaffer and a top person, and I want to help him a lot. I’ll give all of my life inside the pitch to help him.
“I’m really enjoying my time here at Wolves, I’m enjoying everyone around the club, so it’s good to give back to those who support me.”
