Arne Slot has suggested that Alexander Isak may get longer on the pitch during Liverpool’s clash with Fulham on Saturday.
The Swede returned against PSG in midweek after more than three months out injured, playing the final 13 minutes at the Parc des Princes.
With another crucial game arriving at the weekend, Slot claimed that Isak is now looking for more minutes after a really promising rehab period with the Liverpool physios.

Slot hopeful of speedy Isak return to fitness
With Hugo Ekitike badly out of form, Liverpool could do with Isak showing his best as quickly as possible.
And though he hasn’t yet hit those heights since joining the Reds in September, Slot used his pre-Fulham press conference to predict a speedy return to match fitness for his No. 9.
“That Alex is available for us again is vital of course,” said the Dutchman. “It was hard for us to convert chances into goals; he’s been a goal scorer his whole life.”
“To have him back is really nice. It was only 15 minutes [vs PSG], but it’s good to have him back and hopefully we can progress his minutes and he can grow into his form as soon as possible.”

“The last time it took him a while, but now we are hoping that after the great rehab period he had we can bring him faster to the level we want him to be in.”
Meanwhile, Slot confirmed that Alisson Becker will not be fit in time for the Fulham game, with Giorgi Mamardashvili set to go again.
“We don’t get a player back yet, but Alisson is working hard to find his way back into the squad,” he said.
“That’s really positive but he won’t be in the squad this weekend.”
