Wolves announced considerable changes to season ticket prices for youngsters this week.

As part of a restructure of age bands, the previous under-17 category has been extended to under-18, while the under-21 age band will now be under-23, ensuring fans pay less for longer before entering the adult category.

Wolves came under intense criticism for price hikes in 2024, which led to some rowing back on prices, before the club froze all season ticket costs last summer for the 2025/26 campaign.

Season ticket prices will be slashed for next season and under-14s paying £105 will now pay £75, while under-18 tickets will be priced at £175 in all stands, down from £276 for those seated behind the goals this season.

And fans have welcomed the move for listening to the concerns of supporters.

One fan said on X: “Well done Wolves, it feels like the club are actually listening to the fans for a change. Jeff probably would have gotten rid of all concessions if he was still in charge.”

Another hopes it is a sign of things to come, adding: “Lets hope this is the start of a better future now Jeff has gone.”

Elsewhere, another Wolves fan said: “Outstanding from the club. Well done to all involved.”

One believes Nathan Shi could save Fosun’s reputation with Wolves fans. They added: “At least you’re listening Nathan - you may yet rescue the Fosun reputation - let’s see the adults and then the squad we start the season with.”

And another believes credit needs to be given for the move. They added: “From a club that has treated fans with disdain for some time now, this is very positive and deserves credit.”
