Andy Robertson will leave Liverpool this summer and four clubs have already been reliably reported as holding an interest in signing the legendary left-back.
Now 32 and having lost his place in the side to Milos Kerkez, Robertson has turned down the offer of a new contract at Liverpool.
He will instead leave on a free transfer at the end of the season, which increases the options he can consider when it comes to his next club.

According to the Times‘ Paul Joyce, Juventus, Atletico Madrid, Napoli and Tottenham will be among those interested.

Tottenham held talks with Liverpool in the January transfer window and Robertson was open to a move at the time, only for an injury crisis in Arne Slot‘s squad to prompt a U-turn from the vice-captain.
Robertson also turned down an offer from Atletico last summer, explaining in September: “My heart was still in Liverpool and we wanted to stay.”
It would not be the first time Diego Simeone’s side made such a move, having previously signed England right-back Kieran Trippier in 2019 and then Republic of Ireland full-back Matt Doherty in 2023.

There will also no doubt be interest from Robertson’s boyhood club Celtic, though a move to Scotland appears unlikely at this stage.
Sky Sports have further reported that there are expected to be suitors from the Saudi Pro League, but it remains to be seen if he will be open to a move to the Middle East.

Speaking upon the announcement of his exit, Robertson alluded to the lack of game time under Slot this season as a deciding factor in his move.
“Players move on, other people move on – the thing that stays the same is the club and obviously the fans. I’ve had an amazing nine years here,” he told the club’s official website.
“Look, I think it has been well-documented, especially over the last year or so, I’ve had opportunities to leave and I’ve not taken them because of how difficult it is to leave this club. And I wouldn’t change that for the world.
“But I know football moves on, I know teams move on and I think now is the time for me to move on and go wherever my next move is and wherever my career takes me.

“I’ll always look back on amazing memories at this football club, I’ve put my heart and soul into the club for nine years and I’ve not got many regrets.
“I’ve grown as a man and as a person. This club will always mean the world to me, the fans will mean the world to me. It has been a hell of a journey.”
Liverpool are likely to look into the market for a replacement for Robertson, though Kostas Tsimikas remains on the books and Luke Chambers is among the academy options.
