At one stage he was given his chance at Wolves by Nuno - but a few years later he was out of professional football.
Brought into the Wolves academy, Owen Otasowie rose up the ranks and was given his Premier League debut as a substitute against Chelsea.
He went on to play a handful of times for Wolves before his time came to an end and moved on.
His final appearance came for Club Brugge’s reserve side - just two years in from his debut to Wolves.
Still only 25, the New York born midfielder who has earned a cap for his country, has not played professionally since.
So what happened, and where is he now?
The midfielder moved from the US to London to live with family, before Wolves picked him up and brought him into the academy. He had only started playing football in his early teens.

He kept going up through the academy ranks, and made his senior debut against Besiktas in the Europa League.
Later a Premier League debut came off the bench against Chelsea - where he provided an assist for a goal for Daniel Podence.
A full debut later came away at Burnley in December 2020.
He was highly rated at Wolves and was offered a new contract. Reports during his time at Wolves saw him linked to Arsenal, Liverpool, PSG and Juventus.
But turned his back on the offer of a new deal and moved to Club Brugge for a reported £3.5m.

However, after just a few appearances in it was reported in the Belgian press that the club had stopped paying him, after he had gone absent without leave a number of times.
In total he made just two appearances, one in the league and he featured four times for Club NXT, Brugge’s reserve side.
At one stage he was linked with loan moves to both Barnsley and Sheffield Wednesday.

Since then, he has been elusive and there is not a great deal of information out there about him.
But Wolves fans have been spotting him in recent weeks, posting X videos online from TikTok, with the midfielder appearing in fashion style videos.
And that is seemingly what he has moved into. Reports have claimed that the talented midfielder started a clothing label.
He has also modelled for Burberry - but his move from football to fashion at such a youth age is a bit baffling considering how good he was.
Described as an ‘interesting character’ by former academy boss Scott Sellars - it seems the midfielder won’t be getting back into the game anytime soon.
