“This is a humungous game, I don’t think many people realise how big it actually is!” he said.

“Both Brentford and Everton are just three points off fifth-place and now we know fifth would be enough to qualify for the Champions League.”

Everton have only averaged 10.4 points from their last seven games across the last 10 seasons.

“This game can go either way actually. But I have to back Everton here. They slaughtered Chelsea, and one million per cent should have got something from the Arsenal game. A crucial win to put them in contention for a Champions League place.”

Clubs like Everton have seemingly gone under the radar in the Premier League this season, with so much still to play for in these final weeks of the season.

Having not played a game in almost a month, the Toffees could make a real statement of intent by taking three points on Saturday.
