Leeds United are one of five Premier League clubs keen on Southampton’s Leo Scienza.
That’s according to ESPN Brazil who claimed Leeds, Tottenham, Aston Villa, Everton and Fulham have all ‘shown an interest’.
The report says all five are ‘monitoring the situation’ as the attacker continues to impress in his first season in English football.
The 27-year-old arrived at Southampton in the summer, after just one season playing in the Bundesliga with Heidemheim, it was reported at the time Paris FC timed to sign him for €10 million.
Prior to that he had been having a nomadic career having struggled to make an impact in Brazil and spending several seasons playing lower league football in Germany and Sweden.
Since move to St Mary’s, though, he has been a sensation and six goals and eight assists in 35 games, including a starring in the FA Cup quarter final win over Arsenal earlier this month.

ESPN say he has already received offers to return to his homeland, which he has turned down, and that Leeds are one of the clubs that have been to watch him play.

Scienza can operate on the left wing or as a No. 10 or second striker and would be likely be ready for a step up if the Saints fail to secure promotion from the Championship.
The No. 10 position has been one that was a headache for Daniel Farke earlier in the season, with Brenden Aaronson Farke’s preferred option. Facundo Buonanotte has made no impact since joining on loan in January.
