Turning out in the Premier League for the first time in his career, the Dutchman has eight league goals to his name.
That number is all the more impressive when 1) you consider Burnley’s relegation woes and 2) those eight goals have come from just 14 starts.
With the Clarets trailing safety by 10 points with only seven games remaining, relegation back to the Championship is looking highly likely.

“The Premier League has left me wanting more,” he told Dutch outlet Voetbal International. “I would like to play there for years to come.”

"I don’t know, and I’m not ruling anything out. But don’t say: that is a dream move either.”
He added: “Sometimes I do stop and think about it [the journey to the Premier League].
“PEC Zwolle loaned me out to NEC, in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie. Not so long ago, I was fighting against relegation from the Eredivisie with Fortuna.
“Now I play in stadiums that I used to visit with my parents and brothers during the Christmas holidays.”
