Slot feels Liverpool fans ‘complete support’

**Arne Slot has claimed he still feels ‘complete support’ from Liverpool fans.**

Pressure continues to intensify on Slot’s beleaguered Anfield reign after his side suffered back-to-back defeats in the FA Cup and Champions League quarter finals.

The Dutchman faces a fresh challenge with Saturday’s visit of Fulham in the Premier League taking place against a backdrop of supporter protests over ticket prices.

But Slot insists that he retains backing from the Reds’ faithful as well as the club hierarchy in both owners Fenway Sports Group and their sporting figureheads.

He said: “I’m repeating myself a lot, but I’ve said it many times: I feel a lot of support.

“But not only from the owners, Richard and Michael, but I feel a lot of support from them as well.

“As weird as it might sound, I also feel the support of the fans.

“In Paris, when the players went out for the warmup, the fans – after a 4-0 loss – immediately started singing ‘we love you Liverpool’.

“After we were, I think it’s fair to say, outplayed over 90 minutes we went to the away end and they were still singing for us and clapping for us.

“So that’s the support I’ve felt, we’ve felt, constantly.

“I think, and I’ve said this many times as well, the club knows in which period of time we are in.

“In the meantime I feel complete support, yes.”
