West Ham‘s 4-0 victory over Wolves on Friday night has major implications for the Premier League relegation battle.
The Hammers entered the game one point below London rivals Tottenham and three points below Nottingham Forest.
They have now overtaken Spurs, pushing them into the bottom three, and are only behind Forest on goal difference.
Feeling confident about their survival chances, West Ham fans were heard singing about Tottenham during the game.
Assuming West Ham stay up, would you rather see Arsenal bottle the league or Tottenham go down? 🤔

West Ham supporters mock Tottenham during Wolves game
West Ham supporters aimed a brutal chant at the visiting Wolves fans during the 4-0 thrashing at the London Stadium.
“Down with the Tottenham; you’re going down with the Tottenham,” they sang about Spurs joining Wolves in the drop zone.
Tottenham could have the last laugh when they face Sunderland away on Sunday, with the opportunity to overtake the Hammers.

However, Spurs will be under even more pressure in Roberto De Zerbi’s first game in charge of the North London club.
Still, the relegation battle will not be decided this weekend, whatever happens in Tottenham’s visit to the Stadium of Light.
All that West Ham can do is focus on winning three of their remaining six games, which would surely be enough to survive.
And nothing will make Hammers fans happier than staying up at Tottenham’s expense, as their latest chant has proven.
