West Ham United’s emphatic win over Wolves will have sent shockwaves around the Premier League, according to pundit Jamie Redknapp.
On Friday night, West Ham United beat Wolves 4-0 to lift themselves out of the relegation zone for a few hours at least.

The result plunges Tottenham into the bottom three of the Premier League table, while it also takes West Ham to level on points with Nottingham Forest and just one behind Leeds.
It was a statement of intent from Nuno Espirito Santo’s side, who certainly put the cat among the pigeons with a fine second half performance here in east London. It was nervy at times in that first half, however.
Redknapp believes those around the Hammers in the Premier League will be on alert.
Taty and Dinos with braces, but did anyone else stand out more?
The pundit was speaking to Sky Sports on a night of celebration here in east London.

Nothing is achieved yet of course, but Redknapp believes the sheer scale of the victory is enough to send “shockwaves” to their relegation rivals.
He said: “The result will send shockwaves in the other clubs. West Ham had to get those three points tonight and they did.”

Redknapp is right. West Ham mean business and though tougher tests will come, this was a brilliant way to start off the run-in.
All the pressure is on their rivals now. Had West Ham lost, the whole weekend would have been painful for any of their supporters to watch.
West Ham may well slip back into the bottom three but at least they have done their part. They have laid the gauntlet down, and it’s up to the rest – none of whom are perfect – to respond.
Friday night was about West Ham. Rival fans might point to how poor Wolves were, but West Ham have so often been the architects of their own downfall that literally nothing is a given when it comes to this club.
