That appears to be the biggest question as Fabian Hurzeler selects his starting XI.
Kaoru Mitoma showed his form and fitness in appearances for club and country of late.
As indeed did Yankuba Minteh and Diego Gomez.
But the latter has been booked in each of this last three games for the Seagulls and a yellow card today would mean a two-game ban.
Could that, as well as the form of his other widemen, come into Hurzeler’s thinking ahead of the East Lancs trip?
Another yellow would mean Gomez is ruled out for games with Spurs and Chelsea.
Olivier Boscagli looks a certain starter at the back in the absence of Lewis Dunk, who starts his own two-game ban.
Hurzeler said: “The players will get their chance.
“They just have to make sure they are ready when the opportunity is there.
“Lewis will be suspended for two games, and that means the opportunities for us.
“And that's what football is about. It's about working hard, it's about being ready in the right moment.”
Boscagli’s promotion to the XI would leave Albion short of cover in that area should he or Jan Paul van Hecke suffer any mishap.
Hurzeler confirmed Igor Julio is an option for the matchday squad.
Possible Albion XI: Verbruggen; Wieffer, van Hecke, Boscagli, Kadioglu; Milner, Gross; Minteh, Hinshelwood, Mitoma; Welbeck.
