"Not available" - Reliable journalist has now confirmed big Liverpool absence for Fulham clash

**Arne Slot has confirmed that Alisson is still missing for Liverpool’s Premier League clash with Fulham this weekend, but his return isn’t too far away.**

The Reds face a crucial league clash on Saturday evening, with more dropped points potentially fatal to their hopes of securing a top-five finish this season.

Having lost 2-0 away to Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday night, a response is needed by Liverpool, but too often in 2025/26, that hasn’t been the case.

While the Reds have no new injury problems heading into the Fulham match, reliable journalist David Lynch has taken to [_X_](https://x.com/davidlynchlfc/status/2042517080105173321?s=20) to confirm Alisson’s continued absence, having not played since the 4-0 win at home to Galatasaray:

**How will Liverpool line-up vs. Fulham?**

It will be interesting to see which starting XI Slot goes with to face Fulham, considering it is sandwiched between both legs against PSG.

The Dutchman surely won’t continue with a back five, with the change in system not paying off in midweek, meaning Joe Gomez and Jeremie Frimpong will battle for a start at right-back.

That said, Ibrahima Konate’s poor form continues to be an issue, so Gomez could even slot in alongside Virgil van Dijk at centre-back.

The departing Andy Robertson may come in at left-back, in order to give Milos Kerkez a breather between two high-octane Champions League matches.

In midfield, Curtis Jones is an option, but he increasingly seems to have fallen out of favour under Slot, so the usual unit of Ryan Gravenberch, Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai could once again be used.

But given Mac Allister’s blatant lack of legs this season, that would be a risk, so Jones would be a good option against the Cottagers, as he looks to prove his worth.

The headline of the day will surely be Mohamed Salah returning to the team, having not played a single minute in Paris, with Florian Wirtz and Hugo Ekitike likely to complete the attacking unit.

That said, Ekitike was hugely disappointing away to PSG, so Cody Gakpo or even the fit-again Alexander Isak may justify replacing him.
