Leeds United 1992 title winner Tony Dorigo says the Whites will need to cut out any errors from their game to end the 45-year wait for a league win at Old Trafford.

Leeds go into the game off the back of reaching the FA Cup semi-finals following last weekend’s penalty shoot-out win over West Ham, but have not scored in four Premier League games and have failed to register a top-flight win since the first week of February.

Daniel Farke's men sit above the relegation zone heading into the final seven games of the season, with Man United being the highest-ranked opponent in the Premier League table left to play.

Matters will be made more complicated by the absences of Anton Stach, Joe Rodon and Daniel James for the remainder of April due to injury, while Gabriel Gudmundsson, Noah Okafor and Jaka Bijol are all doubts.

Speaking prior to this news being revealed, Dorigo laid out the picture for Leeds as it already was. “I think we know it's going to be very, very difficult,” he told Leeds Live.

“The rivalry is something else. But at the end of day, they [Man United] are on a really good run. We desperately need points as well, so we'll be fighting for our lives and no doubt, but I think what we have to do is clearly - we can't make mistakes.

“Anytime we do get our chances, I think our ratio of taking those chances needs to be a bit higher then we'll start to convert these draws into wins.

“We know it's going to be a really tough battle, but you just never know. Our boys have got great spirit, great determination, and the way they have performed this season has been brilliant.

“I look at the boys, the way they interact with each other. Got a really good group, so I'm sure they think, you know what, let's go there and let's get to some points.”
