Preliminary agreement reached - Liverpool star agrees €10m/year salary to leave

Juventus are reportedly considering a move for Alisson Becker, with suggestions that the Liverpool goalkeeper has indicated openness to a potential switch to Italy.

The update comes from Tuttomercatoweb, who report that the Brazilian international could be among the high-profile names under consideration as the Serie A giants reassess their goalkeeping situation.

They report: “Juventus are pushing for Alisson, and the goalkeeper has given his first yes. A three-year contract is in the works.

“Discussions between Juventus management and Alisson’s entourage have been positive, to the point that the player has already given an initial yes, though obviously not yet definitive.

“Juventus are offering a three-year contract, with a salary obviously lower than that earned by Alisson (around 10 million euros per season) in the Premier League.”

Juventus are exploring the possibility of signing Alisson as they look to strengthen their squad with proven world-class talent.

The report claims that the Italian side is evaluating their current goalkeeping hierarchy, with questions remaining over whether they possess a fully trusted long-term No.1 option. As a result, Alisson has emerged as a candidate due to his pedigree at the highest level.

Despite Liverpool activating an option to extend Alisson’s contract by an additional year, Juventus are still said to be monitoring his availability ahead of the summer window.

Suggestion Alisson is open to leaving raises major concerns for Liverpool

One of the standout elements of the report is the claim that Alisson has indicated willingness to consider a move should the opportunity arise.

???? Alisson Becker is open to joining Juventus this summer. Talks are underway between the Bianconeri and Alisson’s representatives for a three-year deal.

Juventus are the lead to sign him but to seal the deal they must qualify for next season’s Champions League.

While Alisson is potentially the most injury-prone goalkeeper in the world, or at least the most injury-prone elite goalkeeper, he remains one of the best shotstoppers in the world.

Giorgi Mamardashvili has done little to suggest he has what it takes to come close to the astonishing standard set by Alisson.

Such a move would represent a significant shift given Alisson’s long-standing role as Liverpool’s first-choice goalkeeper and one of the most consistent performers in the squad.

That said, at present, the situation appears to remain speculative rather than advanced.

Liverpool’s decision to extend Alisson’s deal indicates that the club still values his contribution, and any decision to allow him to leave would likely depend on succession planning and the availability of suitable replacements.
