Having just returned from a considerable injury, the 21-year-old striker is believed to be ‘100%’ set to leave Midtjylland this summer.

Everton previously made contact with his agent over a potential move to Merseyside.

It was Everton News’ understanding that Midtjylland valued the young striker in the region of £40m, when the Blues were considering a winter move.

Although he has missed a number of months through injury, Franculino has returned still as the top scorer in the Danish top flight.

The 21-year-old has returned 16 goals in his 17 appearances for Midtjylland, which has them sitting in second spot.

With a number of top European sides also interested, Everton are going to have their work cut out if they are to land Franculino.
