On a night when Taty Castellanos and Konstantinos Mavropanos scored twice apiece, when West Ham United welcomed back Crysencio Summerville, Mads Hermansen falls some way down the list of post-match topics.
The Dane was a spectator for long periods as the Hammers racked up their biggest home win since Danny Ings hit a brace of his own against Nottingham Forest in 2023.
The fact that Mads Hermansen recorded his fifth clean sheet of the Premier League season, then, will understandably slip go under the radar. But maybe it shouldn’t.
Taty and Dinos with braces, but did anyone else stand out more?
West Ham United will certainly not be taking such a run for granted.

After all, Hermansen is the first since Lukasz Fabianski between December 2020 and March 2021 to keep five clean sheets in ten league games.
Ok, Hermansen’s first clean sheet and his fifth sits either side of a five-month spell on the substitute’s bench.
Yet, Alphonse Areola was beaten in every one of his 20 appearances between West Ham’s 3-0 win at Nottingham Forest in August and their 4-0 thrashing of Wolves on Friday night.

In fact, while Areola has only one in his last 38 Premier League appearances, Hermansen has kept a clean sheet in 41 per cent of his outings for the London outfit.
The former Leicester City glovesman still has his critics. There were a couple of nervy moments against Wolverhampton Wanderers, too. Particularly the Angel Gomes free-kick which cannoned back off the post moments before Pablo Felipe and Taty Castellanos combined to put the hosts 2-0 up.
Yet, if the outstanding Kostantinos Mavropanos and Axel Disasi have transformed a previously-porous backline, it would be unfair to ignore Hermansen’s contribution.
