Liverpool supporters will voice their opposition to rising ticket prices at Anfield on Saturday as the Reds take on Fulham.
Though Arne Slot’s team are in desperate need of a win, fans have decided that enough is enough on FSG’s plans to further increase the cost of going to the match next season.
Ahead of the game, chairman of the Liverpool FC Supporters Board Jay McKenna appeared on The Anfield Wrap to share what fans can expect during the clash with Fulham and beyond.

Liverpool fans urged not to take flags to Anfield
With the cost of living rocketing up relentlessly in the UK over recent years, fans have decided to take action and let the Liverpool owners know that they risk losing Anfield regulars if they go ahead with plans to hike prices.
As McKenna explains, the initial action will be to remove all flags from the Kop during the Fulham game, with things then ‘escalating’ if Liverpool refuse to listen.
“The big message coming out is that Spion Kop 1906 are not bringing their flags to the ground, they’re the ones who usually meet in the corner of the Kop, they’ve got loads of the big wavers and the big flags,” he said.
“I know they’ve been speaking to other people who have flags on the Kop as well. There’s a big encouragement, no flags.”

“We’ve seen in the past, it’s a good visual example of how much that support is important to the team and the club. So, it’s about not bringing those flags and that support, withholding that support and saying ‘this is what we give you, for nothing by the way, and you sell it, well we want a bit back.’
“It will build from there, encouraging people not to spend in the ground, encouraging people to come and collect leaflets to put out around the ground.”
Does that mean Anfield will be quiet against PSG?
Obviously, this ongoing struggle is of greater importance than Liverpool’s current plight under Slot.
Nevertheless, fans will understandably be concerned that further hitting the atmosphere at Anfield is only going to hinder the chances of the Reds getting results.

After Fulham, Liverpool have an enormous Champions League match against PSG, where the Anfield crowd will be expected to play a big part in helping turn around a 2-0 first-leg deficit. Without the flags and with fans protesting the club, the chances of Liverpool getting through will be drastically reduced.
According to McKenna, though, the PSG game is not included in the protests, with its proximity to the 37th anniversary of the Hillsborough disaster taking rightful precedence.
“There will be some flags in the ground for PSG at home, but that’s because that’s the closest game to the Hillsborough anniversary and people will want to pay their respects and the Kop will pay its respects as it should, but that’s it,” he said.
“The plan isn’t that those flags disappear for Fulham and then they’re back for Crystal Palace and Chelsea, it starts at Fulham and it continues, and other actions will escalate beyond that.”
