Everton secured a late point to keep up in the race for the European spots.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall was the hero with a late strike in front of the travelling fans.
David Moyes’ side certainly had to battle in west London, with Brentford also pushing for the European places.
Jordan Pickford conceded an early penalty, which was dispatched by Igor Thiago, before Beto netted the equaliser.
Who was your Man of the Match in that crunch game? 💪

It was not a performance Everton will look back on too fondly, but it did demonstrate the fight this group of players have.

Jordan Pickford – 5
Made a fantastic save to deny Mathias Jensen, but he played his part in Brentford’s opening goal of the game.
Sum that one up for us, Blues! 🤩

Pickford has saved Everton a number of times this season. However, he was at fault against the Bees.
Jake O’Brien – 7
The Ireland international had a big role in Beto’s equaliser as he hustled for the ball in the final third.
James Tarkowski – 5
Bizarre defending from James Tarkowski in the build-up for the opening goal as Kevin Schade strolled in behind him.
Jarrad Branthwaite – 5
Although his pace helped Everton at times, Jarrad Branthwaite’s return to the side was not enough to salvage what was a poor defensive showing from the Blues.
Vitalii Mykolenko – 5
Similar to Tarkowski, Vitalii Mykolenko was neither here nor there in the lead-up to Brentford’s penalty
James Garner – 6
Picked up a yellow card in the second half and was not quite able to have his usual impact on the game.
Idrissa Gana Gueye – 7
Really positive work going forward from Everton’s Senegal international. Idrissa Gana Gueye lofted in a well-weighted cross that was asking Beto to head home.

Dwight McNeil – 4
The 26-year-old has been tremendous in his recent displays for the Blues. This was not one of them; a very quiet display from Dwight McNeil.
Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall – 8
Squandered a glorious opportunity to put the Blues ahead after the 70th minute. A truly bizarre decision to turn when he was one-on-one with the goalkeeper.
However, he turned into the hero in stoppage time with a huge equaliser.
Iliman Ndiaye – 5
Took until after the hour mark to spark into action with a deflected shot. Was never really much of a threat.
Beto – 8
Moyes demanded Beto maintained his fine form and that is exactly what he was able to do by grabbing the equaliser.
The Everton striker had to work hard against Nathan Collins, but he dominated for his headed goal.

Really bright when he came on. Constantly wanted the ball and made a real impact.
