Harry Redknapp signed Eddie Howe as a player and the duo also share a long-standing affinity with Bournemouth.
Harry Redknapp has called the pressure on Eddie Howe “very harsh” as he faces further scrutiny on his Newcastle United future.
For the first time of his four-and-a-half-year reign, questions are being asked about the Toon boss. Those concerns were amplified following the 2-1 defeat to Sunderland three weeks ago.

Speaking yesterday, Howe reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to Newcastle. He told reporters: "For me, nothing has changed. I'm absolutely 100 per cent committed to the job. That commitment has never wavered from my side.
"I've been working during the break to make sure that we come back a stronger team. I think, in this day and age, it's very difficult to look too far in the long-term. I can only look at these seven games and make sure that we perform at our very best level."
