Amid all the talk about Sandro Tonali’s future at Newcastle United, it seems those behind the scenes at the club do not think his commitment can be questioned.
Like so many other leading players on Tyneside, Tonali has been heavily linked with a move from Newcastle United this summer.
Hard choice – but who are you selling if you were in charge? 🤔

It has sometimes felt as if Tonali would be leaving Newcastle, having publicly admitted that no one knows what the future will hold as far back as November.
Arsenal and Manchester City have also been tipped as potential landing spots for the Italian international, but Newcastle’s stance is clear.
Newcastle think Tonali would be happy if he stayed
Indeed, according to iNews, those behind the scenes believe that Tonali would knuckle down and get on with things if their valuation is not met this summer.
That valuation is thought to be around £100million.
Crucially, the club are thought to accept that business has to be done quickly. If that valuation is not being met, then he will not be departing.

If it can be, then it seems like there will be a deal to be done.
That doesn’t mean that the midfielder doesn’t have eyes on a potential exit. In fact, Newcastle appreciate that Tonali might fancy a new challenge this summer, but it appears there’s a confidence that he won’t be going to any extreme lengths to get one.
Tonali was fit to play against Sunderland
Some would have questioned just how Newcastle mean to Tonali before the international break.
The midfielder missed the dreadful defeat to Sunderland but would then play for Italy in two crucial World Cup qualifiers – the most important of which they lost – only a few days later.
Given all the speculation on his future, it was difficult not to put two and two together.
However, the report adds that Tonali never made himself unavailable for the game, just that there was a fear he might make the issue that saw him taken off against Barcelona only a few days before worse if he did play.
