Andy Robertson has already agreed terms with another club just days after announcing his Liverpool departure, Fabrizio Romano has revealed.
On Thursday (9 April), it emerged that the 32-year-old will be drawing the curtain on his nine-year stint at Anfield when his deal expires at the end of the season.
This news came as a surprise to many, especially considering Mohamed Salah had only announced his departure weeks ago.
Nevertheless, two of Liverpool’s modern-day greats are set to leave the club this summer, leaving Alisson, Virgil van Dijk, and Joe Gomez as the only remaining players from Jurgen Klopp’s UEFA Champions League-winning squad from 2019.
Having only turned 32 in March, Robertson certainly has a few more years of football at the top level left in him.
However, the former Celtic ace has decided to move on from the Merseyside-based club due to a lack of playing time this term, as revealed by Arne Slot himself.

Tottenham strike agreement with Robertson
For the longest time, many expected Robertson to return to Celtic when his time at Liverpool came to an end.
The left-back, though, is seemingly keen to continue playing at the highest level of European football, with several clubs interested.
It emerged on Friday (10 April) that Tottenham are in pole position to acquire the veteran’s services this summer.
Romano has now disclosed that Spurs have already reached a verbal agreement to sign Robertson, with all terms said to be in place.
The Reds’ No. 26 is yet to put pen to paper, though, as rules state that a player cannot officially commit to a Bosman transfer to another Premier League club while the season is still ongoing.
Moreover, the North London giants are focused on avoiding relegation, as they sit 18th (at the time of writing) in the table with seven games left to play.
Robertson, for his part, is happy to move to Tottenham ahead of next season if they avoid the drop.

Liverpool need new left-back
Robertson has seen his playing time dwindle since the Anfield outfit signed Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth last summer.
It is evident that the Hungary international, who has made 41 appearances across all competitions, has been brought in as a long-term replacement for the ex-Hull City star.
With Robertson and Kerkez in the ranks, Slot has little to worry about the left-back position.
However, the former’s exit this summer is set to leave the Dutchman short in that area, meaning Liverpool would have to sign a new full-back, if not promote one from their academy.
