David Moyes makes Thierno Barry demand after Everton 2-2 Brentford

Everton remain in the hunt for European football after grabbing a crucial late point against top-seven rivals Brentford.

Everton looked as though they were headed for a 2-1 defeat in the capital until Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall stepped up with a stoppage-time equaliser.

The draw keeps the Toffees level on points with Brentford, who currently occupy a UEFA Conference League spot.

David Moyes urges Thierno Barry to get back in the goals

Beto scored his fourth goal in his last six games against Brentford, so he’s finally starting to find his form at the business end of the season.

That said, Moyes has now urged Barry to do the same and get himself back amongst the goals after just one in his last nine appearances.

“We need Thierno and Beto to get us the goals,” the Everton manager stated.

“When Thierno comes back in and gets his chance, we need him to get the goals a bit like Beto’s done.

“He’s in good positions Beto, at the moment, scored a good header today, so let’s hope he can keep it going.”

Barry has lost his place to Beto in recent weeks and hasn’t really been able to make any impact at all from the bench.

Most Toffees fans are in favour of selling Barry in the summer, so the Frenchman has a lot to prove to the supporters and Moyes in the remaining six games of the season.
