Just in case you hadn’t seen the headlines in West Ham-oriented publications, scarcely concealing the scadenfreude concerning our nearest rivals and their former Hammer, Tottenham’s Mohammed Kudus has been struck again by injury trouble that will now curtail his season.
His heart may well have Spurs on it but his thigh is more likely to be covered in ice as the midfielder failed to return from an quad injury which had kept him sidelined for months, before before further damaging his leg during recovery – according to the BBC – who say he’ll now need surgery.
Sadly, injury trouble isn’t confined to Kudus. Former West Ham wonder kid Luis Guilherme has succumbed to a nasty ankle injury at new club Sporting, apparently, as the Hammers alumni continue to drop like flies towards the end of an arduous season.
Former West Ham wonderkid Luis Guilherme is now out injured
According to abola.pt, Guilherme hasn’t been seen in training this month after spraining his ankle but head coach Rui Borges is keeping everything crossed that Guilherme will return before the final day clash with Gil Vicente (West Ham’s Pablo’s former club) on May 16th.
