Goals from Junior Kroupi and Alex Scott were the difference on the day but it was a performance built upon their trademark intensity and pressing with strength at the back.
The Daily Echo rates the Cherries in what was arguably their best performance of the season so far.

Djordje Petrovic: 8
The stopper made some good saves when called upon, and helped marshal a defence that dealt well with the Arsenal set piece threat. He went the right way for the penalty but couldn’t keep it out.
Adrien Truffert: 9
The French left back got lots of joy in attack against Ben White, and his overlapping run and cross led to the first goal. Defensively, dealt well with Noni Madueke before the Arsenal man was replaced, and kept his replacement Max Dowman out of the game.
Marcos Senesi: 9
Both centre backs were excellent. Victor Gyokeres and the rest of the Arsenal forwards had very few chances, as Arsenal created just 0.19 expected goals from open play.

James Hill: 10
Hill just continues to flourish at the heart of the Bournemouth backline. He, along with Scott, are arguably the form players in a side that is on an excellent run, and it is no coincidence that the Cherries’ defensive record has improved with the Englishman partnering Senesi.
Alex Jimenez: 7
The young Spaniard had some good moments and contributed well to an overall excellent performance, but he had a couple of instances where he perhaps could have done better, particularly when bringing the ball out from the back. Otherwise, a defensively strong performance and he did look a spark going forward.

Ryan Christie: 9
The spine of the team made the Cherries tick and Christie truly looks back to his best. He controlled the midfield alongside Scott and his excellent pass slipped through Truffert, whose cross led to the opening goal.
Alex Scott: 10
Just my man of the match, edging out Hill by the barest of margins. A superb all-round performance and he was rewarded with the goal to win it. How he wasn’t called up by England, I really don’t know. His performances are certainly doing no harm to his World Cup hopes!

Marcus Tavernier: 8
Deployed on the left wing this weekend, Tavernier was energetic in his press as usual and he combined well with Truffert.
Junior Kroupi: 9
Kroupi’s best performance in the number ten/second striker role. He has really improved his off-the-ball work that Iraola demands from his players and that was evident. A well-taken goal, too.

Rayan: 7
The Brazilian wasn’t able to influence the game as much as some of his teammates, but a good performance nonetheless.
Evanilson: 9
The press that caused so many issues for Arsenal was led by Evanilson. An excellent touch onto Scott, too, for the winner.
