David Moyes said he had been impressed with Tyrique George after the on-loan Everton winger’s cameo in the 2-2 draw at Brentford.
The 20-year-old forced Bees keeper Caoimhin Kelleher into a good save and produced several testing crosses as he tried to help Everton find a late equaliser at the Gtech stadium.
And while he was not directly involved in Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall’s stoppage time leveller, Moyes said he took positives from his performance.

George was introduced as part of a triple substitution by Moyes as the Blues boss attempted to seize the initiative with the game level with 20 minutes to go.
But moments after the changes it was Brentford that took control as Michael Kayode skipped inside George and James Garner and saw his shot deflected in by team-mate Igor Thiago, who had opened the scoring from the penalty spot only for Beto to equalise.
The Chelsea starlet responded well, though, seeking the ball at every opportunity, attempting to link attacks and beating defenders down the Everton left.
Asked about the loanee’s display, Moyes said: “I was pleased. I've liked Tyrique and we'll try and get him the minutes and opportunities when we can.”
And on his wider thoughts on the England youth international, Moyes added: “He's got good control, he wants to score, I like that, and you saw that today.
“He wants to try and score and that was important for me because I think wide players nowadays, we're asking [a lot of] them.
“We rely a lot on Ili Ndiaye, I'm sure Brentford rely a lot on [Kevin] Schade and their wide players as well.
“I think being a wide player now you've got to have a contribution with goals and assists. He's a young boy who will obviously continue to develop, I've got no doubt about that.”
