Rio Ngumoha stole the show for Liverpool, deemed a “joy to watch” in the 2-0 win over Fulham, but Mohamed Salah also “purred” at Anfield.

Ngumoha (8.15) was hugely impressive for Liverpool, opening the scoring with a stunning curled strike after typically nifty footwork.
The teenager was his side’s top scorer in the average ratings, with GOAL’s Mark Doyle calling him a “outrageously confident.”
Salah (7.38) also got on the scoresheet in style, producing one of his liveliest performances of the season.

Ian Doyle of the Echo felt he was a “constant threat out on that right flank,” receiving a “deserved standing ovation.”
Meanwhile, This Is Anfield‘s Henry Jackson added that some “superb passes could have led to a third goal,” as his confidence returned.
Cody Gakpo (5.68) bagged an assist but got the lowest overall score. He was the only player to register a five-out-of-10 rating from both TIA and you, the readers.
Liverpool 2-0 Fulham: What the stats say
According to FotMob, Dominik Szoboszlai (8.2) excelled for Liverpool, as he shone in a deeper midfield role.
The Hungarian completed 94 percent of his passes at Anfield – 61 out of 65 – and his tally of 15 defensive contributions was unmatched.
Virgil van Dijk was back to his best, making the most clearances (six) from either side and also having four touches in the opposition box.
Intriguingly, Salah actually made the most tackles for Liverpool (four) – has that ever happened before?
