Newcastle United take on Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park
Newcastle United are back in action after a three-week break and are desperately in need of a victory to save their season from dying a slow death. They head to Crystal Palace today in 12th spot in the Premier League table but with an eye still on European qualification.
Eddie Howe and his players have had plenty time to think about the Sunderland defeat and Barcelona battering and will be determined to put things right at Selhurst Park. It won't be easy, however, with Palace on a high after moving closer to a first European title in midweek with a 3-0 win over Fiorentina.
United are still without Bruno Guimaraes and Fabian Schar, but Lewis Miley is back in the squad and Sandro Tonali - who missed the derby disaster - is available after proving his fitness during the international break with Italy.
We've got live updates from South East London throughout the day, with team news, match action, reaction, ratings and analysis.
