UK radio coverage: If you are unable to get to a screen, full live audio commentary will be available on BBC Radio 5 Live. Their coverage typically includes expert punditry and begins shortly before the referee blows the first whistle.
Chelsea team news: Marc Cucurella looks set to return from injury after he failed to come off the bench against Port Vale although fellow defenders Levi Colwill, Trevoh Chalobah and Reece James are expected to remain sidelined while Jamie Gittens is also expected to miss out. Enzo Fernandez will not be in the squad following a club-imposed suspension over comments around his future at the club.
Manchester City team news: Pep Guardiola’s side continues to be led by the prolific Erling Haaland, who has maintained his scoring form throughout the 2025/26 campaign. The squad appears to be in good health, aside from long-term absentee Josko Gvardiol and doubts surrounding Ruben Dias and John Stones.
Head-to-head record: Recent history heavily favours the visitors, as Manchester City have not lost to Chelsea in any competition since the 2021 Champions League final. The reverse fixture earlier this season ended in a hard-fought 1-1 draw at the Etihad Stadium.
